Award-winning drop-in LED mood lighting system, Cobalt Spectrum, is now available for Embraer E-Jets.
We are launching Cobalt Spectrum, our class-leading LED mood lighting solution, for Embraer E-Jets at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo.
Cobalt Spectrum offers full-colour, bi-colour, and white LED lighting in one comprehensive system, made available for E-170, E-175, E190, and E195 aircraft for the first time this June.
The system will empower operators to enhance the travel experience with lighting that complements brand colours, improves passenger well-being, and illuminates the cabin with spectacular designs inspired by nature: dawn, sunset, and the Northern Lights.
A direct replacement for existing OEM fluorescent tubes, Cobalt Spectrum requires no wiring changes or specialist tools and can be installed in as little as one shift. Robust and highly reliable, the system slashes operational and maintenance costs with its low weight and power consumption. Embraer operators can also wave goodbye to patchy, yellowing light: Cobalt Aerospace’s Age Correction Technology keeps lighting looking uniformly beautiful throughout its life.
Thanks to Cobalt Spectrum’s unique wireless controller, cabin lighting can now be changed with the convenient press of a button. With a clear and use-friendly design, the wire-free controller is custom-configured to each aircraft to maximise ease of use.
