Memorable colour for Belgian Icons by Brussels Airlines
When Brussels Airlines wanted to add impact to the latest in their Belgian Icons series of aircraft, Cobalt Spectrum was their first choice.
Each summer, Brussels Airlines flies around 10,000 visitors to Belgian music festival Tomorrowland – an international gathering encompassing guests from more than 200 countries. To symbolise their role in helping festival goers to enjoy an unforgettable weekend in an unforgettable country, Brussels Airlines launched their themed Tomorrowland plane Amare in 2017.
Striking colour for a complete passenger experience
Amare greets guests from the runway with an entirely bespoke, hand-painted livery. The outside of the aircraft looks stunning, but Brussels Airlines were keen that the passenger experience not end there. We worked with the team behind Amare to design lighting that offers a truly immersive experience for passengers; including vibrant pinks and purples that encourage a festive atmosphere in the cabin – especially handy for the airline’s Tomorrowland party flights!
The best system for the job
But Cobalt Spectrum does more than just add beautiful custom colour to an aircraft cabin. With a Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) in excess of 500,00 hours, our system is incredibly reliable, and delivers the solution with the lowest weight and lowest power consumption of all OEM and retrofit products.
“We selected Cobalt’s product because it was quite simply the best and most reliable way to get mood lighting for our aircraft. Our guests love the interior of our Tomorrowland plane and remember the great flight experience they have had with us because of it. The Cobalt system is the easiest to select and buy, and behind the scenes we benefit from great reliability, saving fuel and maintenance costs as well.”
